Each site is assigned to the district that best matches its principal function. The gazetteer uses 22 subject districts, ranging from broad precincts such as Unclassified & General Entries to specialist districts such as Official Papers & Identity and Dental Surgeries & Oral Health.
Use the Add a Site form linked from any page. Provide your domain and select the most appropriate district. Once submitted, the entry enters a review queue. Approved sites are added to the district index and visible in the gazetteer.
Yes. All submitted entries are reviewed before appearing in the gazetteer. We check that the site is reachable, that its content matches the selected district, and that it meets basic quality standards. We do not guarantee listing for all submissions.
